Sunday was our family get together for the month and we celebrate Abby and Mike's birthdays. Here are some random picutres from the night. (Yes, it is a collage once again but I have the hardest time deciding on what pictures to post...so I post them all.) We have Mike sharing the chair with Abby and some pictures of who was there. Both Abby and Mike got musical cards so they were having a little dual of having each other listen to the other's music. I only got a picture of the end of it, but it was pretty funny. Oh and Talmage wanted me to take a picture of him and then he puts his hand in front of his face but I blogged it anyways. It was fun to see everyone and just chill for a little while together. Happy Birthday Abby & Mike!

My weekend of fun...
Friday night I went to the movies with Sandie, Jenn and Stephanie. We went and saw The Duchess and I have to say that it was good but her life was a little different. The good thing was the company that I was with.
Then bright and early Saturday morning I was at Stephanie's salon getting to get my hair colored. I decided that it was time for a change...but I am NOT ready to cut my hair yet, so that left color. I went dark and I have to say I was really nervous to make the change but I LOVE it!!! What do you think?

Then I went to Disney on Ice with Candice and Abigail. They put on a great show and we had a fun night out. It kind of made me miss Disneyland and want to watch lots of Disney movies all at the same time.

Here are a few random pictures from the night...

During the intermission Candice went out to get a snack and came back with all this. I think the crown fits her. I also got a picture of Abigail waving goodbye to all the characters, it was really cute.

A group picture...
And the collage of our self-portraits...Candice helped Abigail take her first self-portrait, not bad for her first try.
I have to say that I had a great weekend. Thanks to all my girls for hanging out!

New addition to my Blog....
Yesterday I had a friend introduce me to a new music group and I am now a fan! They are a Finnish rock quintet, called Sunrise Avenue. With the discovery of this new group I decided it was time to add a little music to my blog, so that everyone can take a listen to Sunrise Avenue. Enjoy! (PS-Isn't the iPod, really cute?)
(Remember that the cute little iPod is free, so sometimes it takes a minute for it to load and play. :-))

Happy Halloween!!!!!
Halloween has not been my most favorite holiday but over the past couple of years I am gaining a greater appreciation for it and I have had some fun dressing up, too. Halloween this year was a lot of fun. At work we had a Halloween party, with a Costume, Salsa and Pumpkin carving contest. Then in the afternoon kids come and trick-or-treat. Since Mike works at Novell too, they brought the boys down and they stopped by for a visit.
We took the pumpkins from the contest and had them as decorations for our picture back drop. There were some cool looking pumpkins, the Frankenstein won the contest. This is a cute picture that Jodi got of the boys. (Higher up on the wall it does say, "Halloween Novell 2008")
When I got home from work I found a party going on at the house. We ended up having the whole family (expect for Ryan, we missed you!) out for a quick dinner in a pumpkin before everyone loaded up on sugar. I thought Amy looked so cute with her "pumpkin" belly.
Michelle and the kids patiently waiting for dinner.

Here are all the Harrison girls, Michelle, Jodi, Wendy, Alisa and Amy. I thought everyone looked SO good. Alisa made a great Cruella, Michelle looked cute in the hat and I loved Jodi's tights! (I already commented about Amy's cute belly.)

Seth was Curious George, which totally fits him. He is such a monkey and climbs on everything.
So, I did a collage of the grandchildren pictures (plus Amy :-)). Yes, I know they look the same but I couldn't decide which one to post.
Here we have Tanner and Talmage with a little attitude. I just had to post it.

All of the grandchildren walked over to Aunt Diane's to trick-or-treat before going their separate ways. I managed to get all of them in this picture.

As part of my costume I thought I needed some Henna. I bought this Henna kit from Good Earth and had a guy from my team put it on me. I think he did a fantastic job!

Doesn't this compass look awesome?

October Bdays & GNO
I am a little late with this post but, better late then never...right? Last Sunday we celebrated the family October Birthdays! For some reason we didn't get a picture of all the birthdays together. So here are a few random shots that I took of the night. It was fun to get together and hang out with the family for a little while. Happy Birthday Amy, Jason, Michelle and Aunt Diane!!!
Then on Tuesday we had a Girls Night Out. It had been a couple of months since we had one and it was nice to have all the girls together. We had a yummy food...of course. Then some of the girls worked on Christmas card designs with Amy our, Photo shop and design Queen. :-) (My blog always looks SO cute thanks to Amy!) They made some Christmas tags and we just talked of course. The women in my family are amazing and fun to talk to, so it was great to all be together. Here are the few random shots I took from the night.

Plants....
When we moved to our new building, I inherited a couple of plants from Tyler. So, keeping that in mind I tend to forget that they are there up on my cabinet. After I got to work today I noticed something pink attached to the plant. I think someone is trying to tell me something...

Peek-a-Boo
Last month we moved buildings at work and we now each have our own cube. So, a couple of weeks ago I was sitting at my desk minding my own business when all of the sudden the outlet cover and a pen came flying at me from the side. It caught me by surprise but it was pretty funny. And now you get to witness the reenactment. So, here is the outlet all put together and pretty. But on the other side of the wall...
Cory is plotting his attack...

Now do you see the surprise look on my face? I'm thinking, what the heck just happened?!?!!? (I'm not going to lie, this picture cracks me up. I'm just pleased that I was able to get one picture without me laughing. I'm not a good actress.)

And here is the hole. But it's actually pretty cool because we can talk through it and I feel like there is actually a real person on the other side of the wall.

Now you get to see what we see when we look through it to talk to each other. I think these are fun pictures, I hope you enjoy them.

Go Bold or Go Home
I know that many of you will think that I am CRAZY, well I think you already know that and this will just confirm your thoughts. I just have to say that I am a HUGE fan of Del Taco and I love their advertising campaign right now. I just thought that I would share it with you for those who don't frequent Del Taco or may even live where Del Taco is not available. If you haven't visited your local Del Taco lately, I highly recommend it. Especially on Tuesday nights, it's taco night! Just as an FYI my favorite is a #6 with a Spicy Jack Quesadilla, it's YUMMY!!!

September Celebration
Sunday we celebrated our September birthdays. McKay was our first September birthday. He turned 9 this year...crazy!!!
Next came Tanner and he turned 12, now that is super crazy. They are all growing up SO fast!!
Ryan was our last September birthday. Some fun news about Ryan...he is on the BYU Rugby team and he is going to be a daddy in May!!! Looks like 2009 is going to be a busy year for Ry.

All the younger kids went outside to play but we kept Seth inside with us. I can't believe how big he is getting. And I can't believe that I have forgotten to mention that Seth is going to be a big brother around the 1st of February!! I'm sure that Seth will teach his baby brother lots of fun things and Amy and Dave will have fun chasing the two around. :) (I think those two announcements just made this post a little more interesting, don't you?)

I had to document this...for some reason Seth gets a little scared of Uncle Ryan, so when he started playing and interacting with Ryan I had to take a picture. Aren't they just SO cute?

Snowbird tram
Well, this information is now a week old, but better late then never -- right? Monday (9/22) afternoon Candice called me and told me that she got a call from KJZZ wanting her to come up for a family interview as they were interviewing Justin from Iraq. So, Monday night we did a little shopping so they could look really cute on TV and then I took Tuesday off to go with her and give moral support. (It was also a great "mental health" day for me, so it worked out well.) The interview was short and sweet and aired on the KJZZ cafe Friday (9/26). Here's Candice and Abigail after the interview. Abigail is saying "cheese."

Since we were already in Salt Lake we decided to go up Little Cottonwood Canyon again to see how things were progressing and if it looked better without rain. There was some snow high up from the rain we had over the weekend. We found a few pretty shots of the canyon, that I am posting.

Then we decided to take the tram to see the view from the top. So, this was the temperature at the top. Surprisingly it didn't feel that cold, which was a really good thing because I was not prepared for SUPER cold weather.
Here are a few pictures of the different valleys that you could see from the top. It was a nice day but not the clearest day. The view was still beautiful, though.

Here we are up at the top, the mountains really are so pretty especially with the little bit of snow on them.

Candice and Abigail were dressed a little warmer then I was but we both had flip flops on, so we documented it. Abigail is showing her shoes, too.
Here I am with only a t-shirt and flip flops, but like I said it didn't feel that cold up there, so the 30 minutes on top were fun.

These next pictures are kind of funny. I have a fear of heights. I was totally cool on the tram because we were enclosed. We took pictures of how close each of us got to the edge. Here is Abigail (Candice took the picture of course.) I was entertaining Abigail as Candice was taking pictures of one of the valleys. And I finally had to tell Candice to come watch Abigail because she was freaking me out with how close to the edge she was getting.
See, Candice has NO problems being right on the edge...
...and this is how close I would get to the edge. I took this one, which to me I thought I was pretty dang close.
Candice took this one...it does look like a long way from the edge but trust me, it wasn't.

Here are a few random shots that we took from the tram on the way down. They aren't the best pictures because of the glare but that's where a lot of the pretty colors were. I think you can still get an idea of what the mountain side looked like, in places.

These next 2 make me laugh. All that day we kept saying how pretty the colors looked through our sunglasses. So, Candice took off her sunglasses and took a picture through them. I think they turned out pretty good.

And what would a post be without a few "self-portrait" pictures? We are starting Abigail young with the "self-portraits." Since I am into making collages, I made one of almost all of the self-portraits we took together.
