Halloween Party

Last night Jennifer had her Halloween Party, and it is a costume party so you have to dress up. Here we are getting ready to go over to the party. Debra and Janna are "Black-eyed Peas", Aunt Diane is a Split Pea, Sandie is 2-Peas in an i-Pod, then we have Cowgirl Abby and Brenna and Wendy as Pirates.
I haven't really dressed up for Halloween for years and this year I decided to really give it a good try. So with the help of Amy, I decided to be a Pirate. I have to say that my favorite item of my costume is my fishnet tights! I think they rock! It was fun to dress up and put everything together.

Here is the "party planner" Jennifer. Doesn't she look great?! She made her costume, and I am way impressed with it!

Stephanie decided to be an Amish woman. Notice how she is looking away from the camera because the Amish don't like to have their pictures taken.

Here is Catherine as Raggedy Andy. Too cute!

Jane was a really good witch!

I thought I needed a picture showing off the jewelry that I got for my costume. Pirates have to have some bling, right?

Debra and I just having fun with the camera!

Cowgirl Abby and I documenting the night!

As the party was winding down Jenn said she was going to Wal-Mart as is. We couldn't let her go by herself and have all the fun, so we went too. Of course we had to take pictures to document the trip. (There were other people in costume at Wal-Mart as well.) Catherine, Stephanie and Jenn at the check-out.

Stephanie and I just hanging out in Wal-Mart!

Mikey, Stephanie and I just having some fun while we waited for Jenn to check out.

I thought this was just too cute not to put on the blog. At the end of the night she still looked beautiful! Thanks for a FANTASTIC party, Jennifer!!!

PS- Can't wait for next year!!! :)

Witches Night Out

Friday night I went with Jennifer and her sisters to Witches Nigh Out at Gardner Village. They do this every year, so I thought I needed to go and check it out. We saw some pretty amazing costumes and decorations. I gave Catherine my camera to document the event and ended up with a lot good pictures. So I decided to put them in a slide show again to make it easier and a shorter post! :)

McKay's Baptism...

Yesterday was my nephew McKay's baptism. He turned 8, September 3rd and was so excited to be 8 so he could go to Cub Scouts and be baptized a member of the Church. I am SO proud of him and his decision to be baptized. This is McKay in his handsome suit, with his new scriptures and Grandma. It was a great day and wonderful time for the family to be together. Congratulations McKay!

Funny Seth....

This picture isn't really funny but it is a cute one of Seth, Ryan and Alisa. Seth is finally warming up to Uncle Ryan so we still need to document the times that he will let Uncle Ryan hold him.

Yesterday I went to Amy's house to play with Seth for a little while. This is just a cute picture of that adorable little face. We had lots of fun playing together...the things you will do to make a baby laugh.

To help pass the time and keep him happy until bedtime, Seth found my cell phone and had a lot of fun playing with it. Mostly it would stay on the camera function so he wouldn't call China, because I don't know how to lock the keys on my phone. (It's a flip phone...so why would you need to lock it?)

I just can't ever make up my mind on what picture to post so I post all most all of them.

This one is from my phone (hence the quality.) But his face is just so funny. He was really cute, I would take a picture with my phone and then show him the picture and he would get all excited, smile and say some form of "baby" (at least we think that's what he was saying.) It was very entertaining for the two of us.

Self Portraits

As many of you know I like to take self portraits when I am bored. So I went through the pictures on the computer and found all of the self portraits and put them in a slide show. Just for something fun. So you don't have to look at all of them I just thought they would make a fun post! (I even put all the reject ones.) Enjoy....

October Birthday Party

Before I start in on the birthday party, I just wanted to share this picture of Alisa, Amy and Mom. I think it's really cute! (It was taken in October, just not at the birthday party so it counts.)

Talmage is letting Seth "borrow" some of his toys. Here is McKay pushing him around in the shopping cart. Aren't they just SO cute?

McKay and Talmage thought it would be fun to make another pyramid with Grandma this week. A little out of order on the size but kind of fun!

Just Seth as he was walking around. I thought it was too cute not to post!

We have 4 October birthdays in the family, so it was a BIG PARTY! Here are all of the birthdays Amy (10th), Michelle (13th), Jason (12th) and Diane (23rd)! Happy Birthday Everyone!!! (It's pie month at Maire Callender's, so they each got to pick their favorite pie.)

Here are all the older kids, we are missing the babies. Janna was SO nice and brought a pinata for the kids to wack. My pictures didn't really turn out so we just have this one. It was a really cute ghost and the kids had a ton of fun hitting it.

Yesterday was Amy's birthday so we meet for lunch. I took the day off of work to celebrate her big day with her. I couldn't resist posting this picture of Seth.

Or this one....he is just TOO cute!!!

The birthday girl with her Ice Cream sundae.

Michelle with her birthday sundae! (Sydney, Carter and Peyton were there as well.) It was fun to get together and celebrate! Happy early Birthday Michelle! It's fun to have you close!

Happy Birthday Amy!!!!

October 10th is my sister, Amy's birthday! I am a little early in posting the birthday wish but I wanted to be the first one. Amy and I are only 18 months apart and have been best friends forever! We have had SO much fun together growing up, making little mischievous plans and entertaining one another. Now one of my favorites things to say to my mom is, "Amy and I were thinking..." because that means that we have come up with some sort of plan and my mom knows that usually requires something to do with her too. And it is really funny because my mom will roll her eyes and say, "Oh dear, now what?!" But now that we are older we can carry out the crazy plans we come up with all by ourselves. She has been my voice of reason for a long time and I am SO grateful for that. I have enjoyed having Amy live close for the past 2 years (almost) and I have really enjoyed watching her become a mom. She is a wonderful mom to the most adorable little boy you will ever meet! I could go on and on about Amy but I will just leave you with these two cute pictures of her and Seth. And my birthday wish...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
