A chilly day at the property...

Sunday afternoon I went out to Mom and Dad's property with Dave, Amy and Seth. We found it to be a little on the chilly side -- but we had a great time. Here is Grandma with Seth just hanging out on the swing.

Grandma and Seth on the quads. He liked it up until it got started and it was a little too noisy for him. One day he will want to go for rides. The sad thing is that it was too cold to even take the quads out for a little spin. :(

We did try to get Seth used to the helmet for future use. ;)

Amy and Seth having a little ride in the wagon.

We had a super YUMMY dinner out there with Mom and Dad and their friends. Mom and Dad went out to the property with the purposed of building the bunkhouse over the long weekend. Due to the weather we ate inside protected from the wind. They did a lot considering the wind, rain and hail they had over the weekend. It's going to be great to have more room out there for sleepovers and to hang out in.

Despite the cool temperatures we had a great time. Seth was very talkative and entertaining on the drive out, so that was a lot of fun!!! Thanks Mom and Dad for being great hosts, your property looks wonderful!

Sandie's Birthday

We decided to do something different for Sandie's birthday. To start off our adventures we went to somewhere none of us had gone before...

It was fantastic! We were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather with some really yummy food! Their mile high biscuits are SO good! It's a fun old diner that I highly recommend if you are near Emigration Canyon.

Then we had a picnic later in the day after Stephanie joined us with all of Sandie's favorite foods. I had forgotten how fun it is to have a picnic and just chill in the great outdoors.

Stephanie and Jenn having a little fun with their drink cups. :)

I thought this was a fun picture of Sandie taking her self-portrait.

Stephanie having a little fun just being herself. We had a great day hanging out and doing things that were out of the norm for us. Once again...Happy Birthday Sandie!!! (It only took me 2 weeks to do the post.)

Mother's Day & May Birthdays

We had a wonderful day celebrating Mother's Day and our May birthdays in the family. Here is Mom and Dad as Mom was opening our gift.

All of siblings got together and picked something that we had learned from Mom and wrote about it. Then Amy did the design and put them in frames. Mom loved her gift and it was a good time for all of us to reflect on what Mom has taught us over the years. Thank you for everything Mom, I love you!

We took a picture of all the Mom's in our family. Top: Janna, Debra, Jodi and Michelle.
Bottom: Amy, Mom, Aunt Diane. I hope all the Moms had a great Mother's Day!

We had a BBQ this afternoon, here is McKay and Carter hanging out waiting for things to get started.

Here is Seth playing with the rocks that he found in Grandma's backyard.

I couldn't resist posting this picture of Talmage climbing around.

Our May birthdays are Sandie and Peyton. Sandie's is on the 15th and Petyon's is the 10th. Happy Birthday you two! So, Peyton had a wonderful day yesterday and Sandie's special day is coming up this week!!

Here is Peyton with her purse that Janna made her, it's way cute!

David's family made Sandie this fun candy gram card for her birthday.

It was perfect weather and a great day! Thanks to everyone for coming and helping with the BBQ! Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing Mothers out there!

Girls Night Out

We had our Girls Night Out a couple of weeks ago, yes I know a little slow on posting about it. We had some YUMMY food to start off with. I made this Black and White Bean Dip. It was SO easy and YUMMY! You can find the recipe here at The Sisters' Cafe. Debra made a really good queso dip as well.

Water flavored with oranges, it was WAY good. I am not a huge fan of lemon water but I liked the oranges.

For our activity Amy showed us how to use Photoshop. It was really educational. I personally think that it's way cool to see all the different things that Amy comes up with in Photoshop. Thanks to Amy my blog always looks super cute. It was a laid back night but a lot of fun. Here is Abby trying to be apart of the fun. It's rough being a kid sometimes. ;)

Thanks girls for a fun night, can't wait for next time. As I am finishing this post I realized that we didn't actually take a picture of those who attended. Oh well, there is always next time. :)
